LOTS to cover but I'll make it short. Still parked in front of Bobby and Stephens on Alto Street, been here nearly 5 months with, like the saying goes, no end in sight. Tucson is still in the horizon way over there in the distance. Why am I still here? Because I like it. My family is here, Bobby and his husband Stephen. I occasionally have evening dinner with them. Drinks sometimes, too. They are awesome. I also have a close personal and intimate friend here who I spend lots of time with, Shawna. We go on hikes, walk the dog, eat out, etc. I love the Santa Fe weather. Surprisingly, I have not gone completely MAD having more or less lived in an RV for over a year. My secret sauce is I keep BUSY. Making the movie "Wander Lost" however, has been suspended. The logistics of finding and coordinating talent to work for FREE is difficult. It just became a too difficult and wore my drive down. I do, however, hope to kickstart things. A troupe of actors may suddenly emerge . Quien sabe? Es possible.
It snowed, a moderate amount, But only once. In patches, it's still on the ground here and there.
In the meantime, I have managed to write a novel. The name of the Book is similar to the movie. I have title the book, "Wander Lost... And Found Again" I got a first draft, and have passed it along to trusted readers for their thoughts. If any of the readers of this blog would like to read a first draft of
"Wander Lost... And Found Again,"
click on the link and get to reading. And be sure to give me some detailed feedback - as in, Don't hold back!
Pro Musica concerts to look forward to. Dinner. Drinks and covering miles of Santa Fe trails. On my morning walks here in the neighbor hood I listen to the most inspiring music. Music that sometimes makes so emotional that I'm glad I'm wearing sunglasses to hide my tears.
Stuck Inside of Mobile, Absolutely Sweet Marie, Highlands, All Bob Dylan. Power by Kanye. The Year 1812 by Tchaikovsky, Cristo Redemptor by Charlie Musselwhite, and The Flight of the Valkries by Wagner.
So long for now!

Sweet wistful goodbye to Santa Fe NM, my brother Robert and husband Stephen (the most fabulous couple on all of Alto street!),
And to my dear sweetie pie, Shakti, who made my stay in Santa Fe stay incredible and special.
So many good memories!
But it was time to move on . A confluence of events hastened my departure. I wanted to get ahead of the weather. SF is cold and was likely to remain cold. I was ready for some warmth. My road trip had always been about visiting parts of the southwest, and going to Tucson was always on my list. And finally, I got TWO tickets from the Santa Fe street patrol! I had my RV aiming in the wrong direction, and because the ATXTraveler had been parked in front of my brother's house for the better part of 5 months (and two neighborhood gadflies) I was cited as an abandoned even tho I moved the RV every single day (this ticket I'm contesting). So, time, weather and rule crazy city enforcers nudged me to Arizona.
The timing, however, felt good. My Santa Fe memories are wonderful. I look forward to going back very, very soon.
